| I had fun |

First lets finish off last night -- I said I was going to go play Diablo2...well I never got around to it. The computer was running a little slow, so I decided it was time to run Ad-Aware, SpyBot, and Norton Anti-Virus. Got rid of cookies, and bots. No viruses...yay! Well, I noticed it was taking a LONG time for the scan. Over 28,000 files in the Temp. Internet File. Good Lord...I don't think he's ever emptied that file since he got the computer. ROFL. It took me 90 minutes just to scan for viruses. So, I didn't have time to play D2.
Kris got home late last night, which worried me. He's been getting home anywhere from 4 to 5am, with 5 being the norm these last couple of weeks. Well, 5 came and went. I see 5:30, then 5:45... I'm trying not to worry, but I can't help it. Finally he comes in at a little after 6. They were swamped at work. I was just glad he was safe. :)
We watched SpiderMan this morning before heading to bed. Got up at 3:20, then left to Indianapolis. He had to sign papers for ProDrivers; I just tagged along.
After signing the papers, we were on our way home when he asked if I had cash on me. He surprised me by taking me to Buca di Buffo's (That Italian place he promised to take me to). He enjoyed a glass of Merlo, I had Sparkling Mineral Water (I'm not a wine drinker, though I did drink off of his glass). We shared Fried Calamari for appetizer, with the main course being Speghetti Aughio Oglio (something like that), and Chicken Marsala. It was very good. Then for dessert we shared Cannolis and I had a cup of Cuppochino. Very nice meal indeed -- and for the price it better had been!
We decided to walk around a bit -- headed over to the mall there across the street. Just looked around, didn't buy anything. Had a wonderful time just laughing and sharing in eachother's company.
Though, I must admit, sitting there at Buca's, I was just in awe over this man. He had me look over the menu to see what I wanted, but I allowed him to order, as this was him treating me to his favorite restaurant. He ordered, then when dinner came, he split the plates and served me. I don't know why exactly, but how much care he took, to make sure I got what I wanted, that he gave me more mushrooms because he knows I like them...
He opens the doors for me, unlocks the car door on my side before even getting in on the driver's side, helps me with my coat, thanks me every time I cook something, thanks me every time I offer to get him something to drink... he's a Gentleman.
I just looked at him in the moderate lighting of Buca's and just realized how much he truly does mean to me. How we can have our scuffles, then moment later be laughing and enjoying Life. How we can have our little ticklefests and have pillow fights, how we can curl up on the couch and read or watch a movie, or whatever it is...
I have never loved anyone as much as I love him and I'm so happy to have met him.
Sorry for the turn to mush, but I'm just so in love with him... He never ceases to amaze me. *smiles*
Anyway, I'm out of here for the evening. Have a few things around the house I need to do (I promised him I'd make him another batch of No-Bake cookies), then I'm off to play Diablo2 -- hopefully I can! LOL
Be well everyone!

| 'What the hell?' |

Okay, I'm pissed. I called Tri-State staffing this afternoon and ... "That position has been filled." Well thank you for informing me asswipes. Isn't that good? 'I'll call you after I've talked to my boss about the position.' Okay, cool. And then this? Bullshit.
Eh. Family Video is still hiring and I'm supposed to call Thursday afternoon. Hope that National City got my application; I sent it last week. *head-desk* I'm tired of this bullshit. Seriously. I just need an f'ing job, and I needed it yesterday. Hell, I needed it in January.
I'm still plugging away though. Still living, still breathing, still alive.
Had the enjoyment of vacuuming the furniture this evening. Archimedes' fur sticks to and stands out quite well against the blue/green loveseat and couch. It just screams, "Hey look, we have a cat."
Anyways, I'm out of here -- off to play some Diablo2. Need to get my Sorceress, Sidhe_Riona, out of Lut Gulein.

| C who? and other stuff. |

So, TT wants to know about C. C or Kris or Kristopheles or his real name, is my boyfriend. We met online at Care2.com and liked the posts to various things we've commented on. I started a journal on Xanga, he followed me there and started his own. We commented on eachother's entries and then one day we chatted through Yahoo Messenger.
In October, he wrote a story, I read it and asked him about his Muse. He told me it was me, and I was honored and a little shocked. He had mentioned that he didn't think that I'd ever go for him because of our age difference. I asked if he wanted to know more about me -- and I offered him my cell phone number.
He called me later that week and we talked for a good 2 hours when we finally got eachother on the phone. It escalated to talking twice a day (when he got up and when he left for work) and then to several times a day (when he got up, when he left for work, when he got home from work, and I would also call him throughout the day). We hit it off so well, that by the beginning of November we discussed meeting eachother. December came, and we decided it would be our Yule present to eachother. So, December 26th came, and I flew out here (Indiana) from California.
We hit it off so well in person that I'm still here. LoL. I am now living with the man of my dreams and manoman is he ever hot! *laughs*
6'4; blue eyes; bald; slender build; Capricorn! He's 38, I'm 24. Age doesn't bother me, I've never been happier in my life. This man is the man I want to be with forever, and apparently he's expressing the same sentiments towards me.
-- C is at work now, and I'm sitting here thinking about throwing on a movie. Today was nice and relaxing. I read and finished my book, while he worked on a report for school (he's a Grad student).
Other than a slow day, nothing else is new. Haven't heard back from either Tri-State or National City. I'll call Tri-State tomorrow before their office closes. This waiting game is getting extremely bothersome.

Well, I started working on C's taxes; that's a mess. Also finished my one hour application/assessment for National City Bank. I should hear back from them this week to see if I did well enough for an interview. Didn't hear back from Tri-State Staffing, I may give them a call in the afternoon.
Stopped at the library and borrowed a few movies. The Pianist and The Count of Monte Cristo. They are something to watch at least. Also checked out a book on Unsolved Crimes.
I'm tired. Brain is fried after filling out tax forms only to find out I need the more complicated one. Eh, and I still want to try to work for H&R again next year (though as a Tax Preparer, not a Client Services Coordinator). Good money there.
I'm out of here. I'm going to curl up on the couch, watch 'The Pianist' and wait for C to come home.

| Welcoming the Weekend |
| 03.04.05 (10:51 pm) [edit] |
|
Went to Tri-State Staffing this afternoon; I think it went well. She looked at my résumé and said that she wants to hire an office person to help her. Apparently she thinks I'm better than the other person they interviewed -- here's to hoping I get a job (or this job for that matter: entirely laid back, small office, will only be the two of us, 10-3 office hours -- pretty relaxed -- perfect!)
C came to me last night and what he said bothered me a lot. Backdrop: the other day I had mentioned that I noticed a smell that was different than his usual after-work scent, then Thursday we were fooling around - we were heading to the bank and then to eat, he grabbed a book. I asked if he was taking it with him. He grabbed my tit and said "you taking that with you?" I laughed, grabbed him, "Unless it detachs, I'm taking it, just like you're taking this; unless of course we can develop the detachable penis." Well, he started talking about how if that was the case, women would take them and then never give them back to their man, keeping it for pleasure. I offhanded remarked that no, they'd take it off before he left for work, so they know the men wouldn't cheat. Now back to what he said -- "Do you think I'd cheat on you? The comments and you smelled me the other day."
For one, I always smell him when he comes home - I love the way he smells after work. For two, my reasoning for the detachable penis is something my friends and I would laugh about back in Highschool. For some reason I felt like he didn't trust my saying that I trusted him. Who knows -- but we talked it over and I don't things could be better -- aside from my getting a fucking job!
Eh. Life is funny sometimes. I finally meet the man of my dreams, I move to Indiana from California to be with him, and now we're stressed because of finances. I know that it won't tear us down, but it definately puts a rift there.
I'm trying, my sweet, my beautiful C, things will be on the up. I have faith in us.
Now, I'm off to finish my book and begin to relax for the weekend.

As suicideprincess adds to my comments: 'I hate you're child'.
*ponders this for a moment*
Now is that 'I hate your child' or 'I hate you are child'?
If you are going to comment and/or insult at least show some intelligence in doing so. You only make yourself look stupid...

I honestly don't know why, but I've always loved that Title. Shows how deranged I am, I suppose.
Finished applying for NationalBank (there's an opening here in Shelbyville). I hope I get this -- am in dire need of a J-O-B (such a nasty word). Was supposed to work on my Scholarships, but am putting it off tonight. Have 2 applications I need to finish filling out before heading out the door tomorrow.
Getting up at the 'buttcrack of early' (another favorite of mine) again today. Yes, when you go to bed at 7am, noon is early. 5 hours is adequate sleep I suppose, but when you do it all week long, it builds up. Saturday I think C and I will be able to finally settle down a bit. He has reading he must finish, and I too. Borrowed three books from the Library (Crime Scene: the ulimate guide to forensic science, A Cold Case, and Homicide: 100 Years of Murder in America) which need to be finished by March 14. At least this is pleasure reading, not required.
For some reason I've feeling very lethargic this evening. Just guzzled down a soda but that's not kicking in.
--That dog of his... I'm going to seriously maim one of these days... she will not listen, and she has this fascination with licking herself...loudly. Its quite disturbing...
Now back to your regularly scheduled blogging...
I think I'm going to make some food, hot chocolate, plop down on the couch and watch a movie. Sounds good. Now if I can manage to keep awake during this movie, we're getting somewhere.
Ciao, The Winged Wench

| Resting for awhile... |
| 03.03.05 (5:56 pm) [edit] |
|
Woke up at 12.15pm (after going to bed at ...7.00am); threw on one of C's turtlenecks, pulled on jeans and socks, ran downstairs and made coffee. Sat at the table, sipped said coffee and enjoyed a bowl of raw oats and grapenuts, while reading NUVO. Got C up, literally dragged him out of bed (though I know he overplayed it), then headed outside... 'Natural light - get it off!'
Damn sun was way too bright today. He went on to Indy, whilst I whored myself out at WorkForce. Joy of joys. At least on the walk home it warmed up a tad, and the sun died down. When I don't see the sun, I like daytime.
Passing a dealership, I see this bike in the window, and instantly I'm caught, like a fly in a spiders' web. I HAD to go inside and check this out. Nice looking bike, though tiny! Its a 2004 150cc Rebellian Vento (Venta?). Yeah, you read that right -- 150cc! That's not a bike, that's a moped. Anyways, its a beautiful two-toned blue, decked out with studded leather and shield. Only $2,000. Nice putt-putt toy. Though the man said it tops at 70MPH. For some reason, that seems a bit far-fetched - BUT - technology IS advancing, and maybe he's not being a slutty salesman and is telling the truth?
Anyways, I'm home, filling out applications. C comes home. We hit the bank, then CrackerBarrel, where this twat of an old hag decides it would be fun to open the damn drapes and flood the table with light. Well I happened to be sitting directly in the sun's glorious light, and am blinded. So, I'm talking to C, holding the menu up to block the light. He, being the wonderful man he is, offers to switch seats with me. I grin and bear it; we're only there an hour anyways.
So now, C is off at work, I'm here in front of the 'puter, cat is at my feet, dog is outside, coffee to my left, book to my right, and online application site in front of me for me to fill out. Eh, off I go. For now at least.

| Pimping myself? |
| 03.02.05 (11:39 pm) [edit] |
|
Yeah, finished redoing my résumé: adding information, tweaking information already placed and redesigning the entire layout. I swear doing these damned résumés is like pimping yourself out to the highest bidder - or if you are really desperate - the first available John. *shakes head*
Doesn't it feel like that sometimes? You are on your knees, begging for whatever you can take. Sometimes I think you HAVE to be shameless to obtain in this forsaken world. Well, until I find something that suits my interest, I'm just another whore standing in the red light district of the job market -- c'mon and get me...
In other News, started that Assassin. Oh how I miss playing D2. Perhaps tomorrow I'll find a little time to kill some beasties. That's if I don't find something else to distract me.
Eh, not that I want to, but I suppose I need to dress myself up even more, and pour that 'intellectual' shit onto paper -- need to apply for more scholarships -- oh goodie.

*Takes a look around her new surroundings*
Okay, this will be my ...*stops to count*...what? 10th blog? Eh, something close to that. What I'm going to use this for, I'm not quite sure, but its a new blog.
A friend is trying to get me play D2, which I have no problems with playing, but I'm supposed to be searching and working on my Scholarships...*hears that small voice saying that I can do it later...*
I am just so damn bored lately. Why can't I live like my Archimedes? Sleeping all day, no cares in the World. Sounds nice. At least I can purr if I'm content. *quirks a brow* Ah, but don't I do that already?
Anyways, I'm out of here for right now. Out of Mead, out of Cheez-its and have crap to finish around the house. One day I'll spruce this blog up, right now it is plain and boring.
